The answer before the background

Our recommendation

Alien Shooter TD tower defense uses more than fixed turrets: the official design puts the player in command of seven soldier classes, equips each class with chosen weapons and uses placement slots, training, bombs, land mines and supply drones. Limited ammunition makes every unit both a damage role and a logistics cost. Build the line around reliable ordinary-wave coverage, an armored or boss answer, crowd control or emergency explosives, and a drone position that can refill several soldiers. Do not judge a class without its weapon, mission budget and ammo plan.

Record the complete soldier

Cover four jobs before adding luxury

Start with a consistent damage source for normal enemies and a second role for durable targets. Add an answer to groups or a choke where mines and bombs can prevent a collapse. Position ammunition-hungry soldiers so one supply drone can refresh more than one active weapon.

Training and weapon modification should reinforce those roles. If the first leak is an armored boss, adding another cheap group weapon may not help. If the line runs dry, more damage on paper is irrelevant until logistics improve.

Change one cause at a time

  • Record the first leaking enemy, wave, soldier, weapon and remaining ammunition.
  • Move one placement or change one weapon before upgrading the whole platoon.
  • Count bombs, mines and drones as consumed resources when comparing a clear.
  • Keep an affordable lower-level loadout for missions whose starting budget cannot deploy premium gear.

Use in-client names for a true database

The stores confirm seven classes and hundreds of weapons but do not provide a complete current stat sheet. A reliable class table must be built from the exact platform, version and language. Translation differences should point to one entity instead of becoming new units.

The weapons page supplies the item schema, while the equipment comparison explains how to test a candidate. The wiki page keeps first-party sources separate from community observations so the database remains auditable.

Common questions

How many classes are officially advertised?

Sigma Team lists seven character classes with unique characteristics and development paths.

Are soldiers normal towers?

They fill tower-defense placement roles but also have class development, chosen weapons and limited ammunition.

Why are supply drones important?

They can momentarily replenish ammunition for combatants, so placement can let one use support several soldiers.

What should I change after a leak?

Change the role, weapon, placement or ammo plan responsible for the first repeatable failure—not the whole team at once.

Official listings establish current availability and product facts. Community pages are used for mechanics and build history, then labeled separately.
