The answer before the background
Otherworld legends items form build engines through activation conditions, tags, combinations and merge-only results. Choose effects the hero can trigger often, then add defense or boss coverage that the engine lacks. A fusion recipe requires the correct ingredients and current system; a similarly named item such as Fuse is not the fusion interface. Fettered effects, Item Astrology, bans, reforge and pets have changed across updates, so every exact recipe needs a date.

Fusion
Verify ingredients and outcome in the live station
Community tables identify merge-only items and historical recipes, but the installed Merging station is authoritative. Preserve useful ingredients until the route is plausible; do not sacrifice a functioning item for a famous result that activates poorly on the hero. If a guide shows an interface that no longer exists, check update notes before assuming the station is locked.
Fettered effects create another combination layer. Version 3.3.0 added Demi-Purrge and adjusted Fettered Astrology, while earlier and later versions changed related items. This makes a static 'best items' table incomplete unless it states version, hero, mode and exact effect.
