The answer before the background

Our recommendation

Otherworld legends modes include the randomly generated core dungeon, named scenes and difficulty layers plus later systems such as Rift, Battlefield, Auto Chess, Spatial Interstice, Kingfall, Paragon-style challenges and time-limited events. These modes do not share one optimal build or reward table. State scene, Anguish, hero, update and objective before applying a guide; a daily fixed-hero speedrun is not normal campaign progression.

Random layout does not remove preparation

Official descriptions emphasize randomly generated dungeons, hidden rooms and shops. A map query therefore needs a scene and version, not a promise that every run follows one fixed room sequence. Learn hazard cues and preserve resources for a boss instead of memorizing one seed.

Version 3.4.0's Trial of the Farshore uses daily fixed heroes, scenes and Anguish with speedrun rewards. That is a clear example of why a current event page cannot become a permanent walkthrough. Archive the rule with its date and keep the general mode page stable.

Five fields make a result comparable

  • Mode or named challenge
  • Scene and Anguish
  • Hero, skin and permanent investment
  • Objective: clear, speed, reward, unlock or co-op

Common questions

What is Anguish?

It is a difficulty layer whose current levels and modifiers should be read in the selected mode.

Are maps fixed?

The core product describes randomly generated dungeons; named scenes exist, but room order and encounters are not one fixed universal map.

Is Auto Chess the main game?

No. It is an alternative mode with its own rules and update history.

Does event progress stay forever?

Permanent rewards may remain, but event access and exchange windows are dated. Verify the current announcement.
