The answer before the background
The Summoner's Greed monsters roster is organized by source and rarity rather than one universal power order: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Special, Mythical, Pirate, and newer themed groups such as Zodiac. Unlock normal monsters through their summon pools, Special monsters through matching stone events, and Mythical monsters through the active banner currency and rules.

Unlocking
Read the source before spending currency
- Normal summon currency does not automatically pull Special or Mythical event monsters.
- A Special monster's stones belong to its event; leftover stones are useful when that event returns.
- Mythical availability follows the active banner, not a permanent all-mythicals pool.
- Some monsters gain evolutions or feature-specific upgrades that require additional materials.
- Use the in-game collection and banner details as the final authority when a community table is behind the current patch.
Evaluation
Why rarity is not the same as account value
Speedy and Mighty remain useful examples: support placement can improve a stronger carry more than adding an unbuilt high-rarity monster. A Legendary or Mythical also has little practical value if the account cannot afford its levels or if the current map resists its damage pattern.
A useful roster page records element, role, source, evolution, and version. It should not copy a wiki biography or force every monster into one cross-mode tier list.

How many monsters are in Summoner's Greed?
The roster is still expanding and community counts can lag the live app. Use the in-game collection for the current total and this page for the major groups and unlock paths.
How do you unlock Special monsters?
Farm the matching event's summoning stones, then use that event's summon route. Stones are not a universal pool for every Special monster.
How do you get Mythical monsters?
Use the current mythical summoning banner and its specified currency. Only the active pantheon or pool is available at a given time.
Are Epic monsters useless after getting Legendaries?
No. Support monsters such as Speedy and Mighty can remain valuable because their role and placement improve another carry.
