Fast answer
The answer before the background
Searches for Axon TD Uprising coins, gold, money, gems, diamonds or crystals do not describe the official economy accurately. The current Steam material names Credits, Power, Tech choices and Survival progression points. Credits pay for defenses and upgrades during a run; Power limits or enables upgrades and interactions; map generators can affect those resources; and version 1.2 changed Survival progression to 6 points for each five-wave clear and 10 for a boss kill. Farm progress by repeating the highest stable legal segment that reaches those milestones without losing, not by looking for a mobile-style premium currency that the Windows product does not document.
Economy map
Separate the four resource decisions
| Layer | Documented role | Tracking rule |
|---|---|---|
| Credits | Build and upgrade economy; patches expose source breakdowns | Record income source, spend, sale and balance by wave. |
| Power | Upgrade and Tech-related constraint; generator maps can matter | Track capacity and the upgrade that consumes it. |
| Tech | Changes a run or progression plan | Name the exact Tech and mode rather than calling it currency. |
| Survival progression points | Version 1.2 awards 6 per five cleared waves and 10 per boss | Measure safe milestones per minute, not a guessed gold total. |
| Coins / gems / diamonds | Not official resource names in the checked Steam product | Use them only to correct a search mismatch. |
Progress loop
Choose a repeatable milestone
A failed wave produces less useful progress than a slightly easier run that consistently crosses a five-wave milestone or boss. Start with a stable maze, one answer to the current support enemy and enough single-target output for the boss. Record time, wave, lives, Credits, Power, Tech and points before increasing difficulty or changing the loadout.
Version 1.2 added Big Islands and adjusted rewards, while 1.2.3 changed late Survival scaling and tower balance. Compare runs only within the same version and mode. Co-op results also need both players' loadouts and generator ownership because shared path decisions can change the economy.
Spending order
Fund the route and the first failure
- Extend the path only when the gained firing time exceeds tile and defense costs.
- Keep a reserve for the wave that introduces a new ability or the next boss checkpoint.
- Upgrade the defense solving the first repeated leak; do not distribute Power evenly for appearance.
- Use the Credit-source breakdown added to the interface when income is lower than expected.
- In co-op, agree who connects and exploits a generator before both players pay for duplicate coverage.
Farm audit
Make the result survive a patch
A useful farm log contains patch, map, mode, difficulty, player count, route, loadout, Tech, milestone, duration and failure cause. Three controlled runs are enough to reject a flashy route that succeeds only once. Keep old rows rather than silently changing the article date after a balance patch.
Do not publish a best gold farm when the measured output was Survival points or in-run Credits. The product is a premium Windows/Steam game and the store does not document a mobile diamond shop. The unlimited-claim page explains why browser generators use the wrong resource vocabulary.
FAQ
Common questions
What are the real economy terms?
The official patch trail uses Credits, Power, Tech and Survival progression points rather than a universal coin, gem or diamond system.
How many Survival points does version 1.2 award?
The official notes state 6 points for clearing five waves and 10 for killing a boss.
What is the safest farming method?
Repeat the highest stable milestone with the same patch, map and loadout, then measure points after time and failure cost.
Are generators unlimited income?
No. They are map mechanics with route, space and opportunity costs and should be evaluated within the current mode.
