Why the file is risky
A working number change still cannot prove a safe executable
A trainer needs deep access to a running game and often breaks when the executable changes. That same access can hide credential theft, persistence or unrelated payloads. A checksum posted by the uploader proves only that two people downloaded the same file; it does not establish Element Studios' authorship or safe behavior.
A crack adds another layer of risk because it replaces Steam ownership and update checks. It can separate the client from the live multiplayer version, damage Cloud synchronization and violate the game's license. Return to a clean Steam state before opening multiplayer
