The answer before the background

Our recommendation

Halls of torment mobile now refers to two Erabit products on both major stores. Halls of Torment: Premium is the paid port whose listing keeps the classic 30-minute runs, quest meta-progression, item retrieval and optional Boglands purchase. Halls of Torment without the Premium suffix is a free-to-play adaptation advertising shorter 6–15 minute battles, gems, equipment growth, leaderboards and character purchases. They are not interchangeable editions, so verify the app title and package before using a guide.

Match the icon, store ID and account before changing apps

On Android, the Premium package uses a different listing ID from the free product; Apple also gives each product a separate page. A similarly named icon is not proof that progress, purchases or DLC move between them. Before uninstalling, capture the exact app name, version, account connection, purchase receipts and any cloud-save status shown by the platform.

Do not import a random PC or Premium save into the free adaptation. Even when two products share art and hero names, their run length, equipment, currencies and monetization can produce incompatible data. Use only a documented in-app transfer or support path. A file copied from a forum can overwrite progress or introduce an unsupported state.

Evaluate the device against the run you actually play

Both store families list phone and tablet support, but screen ratio, heat, memory pressure and touch precision change the experience. Test the official control settings before buying a controller solely for one review. On foldable or unusual displays, preserve a screenshot of clipped menus and report device, orientation and app version.

Mobile reviews should name Premium or free, operating system, device and update. A complaint about a 30-minute Premium run does not necessarily describe the short-battle free product. Store update notes and user reviews are freshness signals, not substitutes for reproducing the issue on the exact package.

Common questions

Is Halls of Torment on Android and iOS?

Yes. Official Premium and free product listings exist on Google Play and Apple's App Store in supported regions.

What is the difference between Premium and free?

Premium follows the classic longer-run progression; the free adaptation advertises shorter battles, gems, equipment growth, leaderboards and in-app purchases.

Does a PC save transfer to mobile?

No universal transfer should be assumed. Use only a transfer path explicitly documented by the exact product and store.

Does Premium include The Boglands?

The current Apple Premium listing shows The Boglands as a separate in-app purchase, so check the live regional offer.

What we checked

Official listings establish current availability and product facts. Community pages are used for mechanics and build history, then labeled separately.
