Fast answer
The answer before the background
The hungry shark world app is officially available from Google Play for Android and Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Google currently states Android 5.0 or later; Apple lists iOS and iPadOS 13.0 or later and tvOS support. The mobile game is free with ads and in-app purchases. Install from the platform owner, enable supported cloud save, and do not replace an incompatible device warning with an unsigned APK or IPA.
Official routes
Match the store, device and product identity
| Device | First-party route | Checked boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Android phone/tablet | Google Play | Android 5.0+ in current description; device compatibility still varies. |
| Chromebook | Google Play where listed compatible | A Play listing does not prove every Chromebook input or GPU works. |
| iPhone / iPad | Apple App Store | iOS/iPadOS 13.0+ in current US listing. |
| Apple TV | Apple App Store | tvOS support is listed; controls and save sign-in should be verified. |
| Console / Microsoft PC | Platform-owner store | Paid or separate products, not the mobile app package. |
Before install
Protect account and save state before changing devices
On Android, Ubisoft support documents Google Play or Facebook sign-in for cloud progress. On iOS, it documents Apple or Facebook sign-in. Confirm the green cloud indicator and correct account before uninstalling. If two saves appear, the support warning says the discarded alternative is erased, so compare progress carefully.
Android-to-iOS transfer is not supported by Ubisoft's current device-transfer article. Treat a cross-platform migration promise from a third party as unverified. Do not upload a cloud ID, receipt or social login to a page that claims it can convert the save.
Compatibility
A store rejection is evidence, not a reason to sideload
Android 4.4 searches conflict with the current official minimum of Android 5.0. Even a newer OS can fail hardware, memory or regional checks. Record device model, OS, free storage and store error, then use official support. A random package cannot add missing graphics capability and breaks the trusted update chain.
The mobile product contains ads and optional purchases. Current store descriptions say advertising is disabled after a purchase, but pricing and offer presentation remain store- and region-sensitive. Use the live purchase screen and receipts; do not install a no-ads package or altered IPA.
FAQ
Common questions
Where can I download the game safely?
Use Google Play for Android or Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
Does Android 4.4 work?
No under the current published minimum; Google Play states Android 5.0 or later, with device compatibility still required.
Can I move Android progress to iPhone?
Ubisoft support says transfers work only between devices on the same operating system, not Android to iOS.
Is an APK required on PC?
No. Use the current official Microsoft PC listing if it is available in your region; an APK is the mobile package, not proof of a native PC release.
