The answer before the background

Our recommendation

Tower Tactics Liberation coins is generic search wording, not the clearest name of the documented economy. Crystals are the verified run currency named in balance notes, while Astral Dust is a metaprogression resource that can be spent to skip Ascension levels. Astral Siege separately uses card packs, Crystal Mine income, morale and Siege Level. We did not verify permanent wallets called Coins, Gold, Money, Gems or Diamonds in the current first-party records.

Farm better decisions, not an imaginary gold route

  • Enter a run with one purpose: clear the next Ascension, test a deck, improve a resource return, or unlock a named objective.
  • Take crystal multipliers only when the board can still survive; economy that causes a failed combat has negative net value.
  • Choose elites when the deck can handle their modifiers and the trinket opportunity improves the planned interaction.
  • Spend in shops on cards or trinkets that solve a measured weakness. Buying every available reward lowers both crystals and draw quality.
  • Record crystals before and after a route, run duration and outcome. Compare net usable progress per minute, not the largest number shown once.
  • Keep base-game, Celestial Dawn Survival and Astral Siege income in separate rows because their modes and reward loops differ.

Astral Dust should remove a real progression bottleneck

The current official notes explicitly show Astral Dust as the cost for skipping Ascension levels and recommend the control when a deck's current difficulty is too easy. That makes the spending question concrete: use it to reach meaningful challenge faster, not simply because the button is visible. Retain the deck and current Ascension with the decision.

The public notes do not provide a complete current earning table for every source. Use the live client to record the exact reward from runs, offerings or other progression systems on the reviewed version. A community farming claim without deck, mode, patch and time cannot be compared fairly.

Keyword correction

A 'best gold farm' page should not invent Gold. This guide preserves the search term while answering with the resources and mode names the game actually documents.

Common questions

Does Tower Tactics: Liberation have coins?

Coins are not a verified current wallet label in the checked first-party records. Crystals and Astral Dust are the clearer documented resource names.

How do I farm Crystals?

Track net Crystals and completion time across comparable routes, then keep crystal multipliers only when they do not weaken the combat plan enough to lose the run.

What is Astral Dust used for?

The 1.18.2 notes document spending a small amount to skip Ascension levels for a deck.

Are Gems and Diamonds real currencies?

They were not verified as current wallet names. Treat pages promising those resources as unverified unless the current client and mode show the exact label.

What is the Crystal Mine?

It is part of Astral Siege's separate Siege mode, where towers increase income. It is not proof of the same economy in the base campaign.
