The answer before the background

Our recommendation

Loop hero builds should start from the three class identities. Warrior wins by surviving long enough for sustained combat scaling and can combine defense, regeneration or vampirism with steady damage. Rogue converts trophies at the campfire and values fast, focused offense plus evasion or critical support. Necromancer delegates combat to skeletons, so maximum skeletons, skeleton level, summon quality and attack speed must be balanced instead of maximizing one number.

Choose a build axis the class can use

ClassCore engineBuild checkTypical failure
WarriorDurability and longer fightsCan healing and defense outlast the route while damage keeps scaling?Too many slow encounters drain the run.
RogueTrophies, dual weapons and fast damageCan the route produce enough trophies without creating lethal packs?Rarity is chased while defense and consistency collapse.
NecromancerSummoned skeleton armyDo summon speed, maximum count, level and quality work together?A high skeleton level cannot compensate for an empty field.

A build includes cards and camp support

A character sheet is only one layer. Forest and Thicket effects, Rivers, Suburbs, Villages, support near the campfire and selected enemy sources change the rate at which the build grows. Record the complete expedition deck, chapter and golden card with any claimed result. A Rogue deck built for trophy volume and a Necromancer deck built for safe summon time should not be presented as interchangeable.

Traits are randomly offered from the active pool after the Gymnasium is built. Class traits such as Field Practice or Unseen Care matter only when their trigger supports the current skeleton plan. Boss traits enter the pool through progression, so a late-camp screenshot may depend on options a new player cannot select.

Write builds as decisions, not shopping lists

  • Name class, chapter and camp unlocks.
  • State the deck and golden card.
  • List two or three priority stats and the minimum survival requirement.
  • Explain which boss or farming goal the setup addresses.
  • Give a replacement rule when the perfect item does not drop.
  • Separate community preference from a verified game mechanic.

Common questions

How do you change class?

Select an unlocked class before an expedition. The Rogue and Necromancer require their camp progression rather than an in-run code.

What is best for Necromancer?

Balance maximum skeletons, skeleton level, summon quality and enough attack speed to replace fallen summons. The correct mix depends on chapter and gear.

Is Rogue always best?

No. Rogue can be efficient with the right camp and route, while Warrior and Necromancer solve different progression and boss problems.

Does trait deck matter?

Yes. Boss traits can be managed through trait decks after they are unlocked, changing the odds of receiving a desired option.
